What should I read to build Iron Man?

What are some books I could read to understand how I could make like the wiring and other things like that to make an Iron Man suit? BTW I will report any answers that make fun of the question or tell me that this wouldnt work...

Do you want to make the suit itself, bare bones, or actually make it work (fly and all) ?Each of the devices needs a power source, that is primary. There also needs to be a CPU which controls the devices, so they each need to be plugged into it to. And then you need ways to control the CPU to tell the suit what to do, which is another part of it all. Building it....thats a whole other story that requires milliosn of dollars.

Stick to comics, dude. Real life engineering isn't anywhere nearly as exciting.

oh this will work alright.  I'd start by reading Iron Man comics and go from issue 1 to issue 225. By then, you'll learn a lot. Then go get "Iron man Suits for Dummies". That will surely put you in the right direction. Before you know it, you could totally have a sweet iron man suit built.  Now the only problem, where in the world are you going to get Military-grade super-heatable, un-breakable/ meltable iron?

It wouldn't work.   Shooting rockets out from your feet like Iron Man is an inherently unstable system.   You'd crash and die.   Also, your body is not shaped to provide lift.   You'd have to fly at an angle just to maintain altitude - - which you couldn't do because your system is unstable.   Your power source, the optoelectric NUCLEAR battery is an electric power source - - you still have no fuel for your rockets, at best you'd have propellers on your feet.   There is absolutely no way to construct an iron man suit with todays technology.   Check back in 100 years.
