Taking the Series 7 securities exam next week. I've reviewed all of the material over the past few months but would like to now focus on topics that show up the most on the test. I've heard Options (most make, break even, most lose, etc), Muni Bonds and Rules and Regs which is what I've been studying the most lately. Anything else I should be aware of?

  1. You've got it covered.

The Series 7 exam is mental masterbation, you have to put down what they want to hear and not always what is done in the industry

If you have, the study material, go over, relax, and don't go into the exam all keyed up.

Just look around at all the dumb sales people in your office, and think "if they passed the exam I could also"

If you're just out of school, you'll do fine since you've been studying recently,  but if you're older or been out of school for about five years, go back and review (calmly)

Just a thought, I would bet that 95% of the reps that took the test 3 years or longer, could not pass the test.

Review, you'll be ok, good luck
