What should I sell a 1989 Jeep CJ-7 for?

There is no such thing as a 1989 CJ-7. The CJ series was replaced in 1988 by the Wrangler.

Fair condition with no extras, the Kelley Blue Book list a 89 Wrangler  at about $3500, however since young, dumb and inexperienced kids often buy used Jeeps, ask a lot more, like $5200, you may very well get it.
