What should I serve at my Mary Kay Party?

Question

Having a couple girls over tomorrow night for a Mary Kay demonstration. I am serving wine & beer, what snacks should I serve? I want to keep it simple.

finger sandwiches    tuna,ham,chicken salad. fruit and or veggies and dip  crackers and cheese .all simple and can be trayed ahead of time   have a good time with the girls!

Yes keep it very simple.  What kind of party are you hosting? if it is a skin care class or makeover remember you are using your hands so you will be serving after the demonstration.  Also I am surprised your consultant didn't mention alcohol changes your complexion so you want to wait until after to service any alcoholic drinks

At any Mary Kay gathering, all alcholic beverages should be saved after the class is over.  Reason being, the alcohol will cause your skin to turn red and if she's trying to match your skin with foundation...well, you'll wind up with the wrong foundation shade later when you're not drinking and you won't like it as much.

Whatever you serve as snacks, keep it really simple.  Don't be elaborate.  You can have beer and wine but save it for after the class is over.

Pink cake or cookies with a Cadillac emblem embossed into the icing. You will have to get  the emblem from a salvage yard.

Fresh fruit spread.  Brie cheese with fresh baguette and crackers.  Mini quiches if you want to get fancy.
