I am hosting a playgroup on Friday for mom's with kids 2 and under. I am planning on serving lunch. What can I serve that would be simple, not require a lot of work on my part, and be good for the moms and the babies? Any ideas would be great!

  1. Chicken Nuggets (Chik-fil-a) has some platters, a fruit tray, a cheese tray, and crackers.

  2. finger sandwiches   cut with cutters into fun shapes stars flowers orwhat you have  ...........children love them ............but don't use bread with seeds etc in for the children's platters........jelly  and ice cream          fruit         sorbet       yogurt    water    fruit juice  really just what you'd want to see at someone elses house or do for yourself  just check the e numbers  and have available somewhere to warm "baby foods " if needed by some mums

  3. Dominoes Pizza.

  4. I would serve cold cuts or finger sandwiches. They are easy to make or you can order a tray or two from your deli. I would also serve a vegetable tray and/or fruit tray for sides. For the kids I would make sure to have applesauce or yogurt handy. Also, juice is good for everyone, just get a couple different kinds.

  5. The moms should bring their own baby food.  As for the luncheon, have finger sandwiches and fresh salad with a simple cake or cookies for desert.  Lemonade, iced tea and soda would complete the meal.

    Have fun.

  6. make your own lunchables with deli sliced ham or turkey, ritz crackers and slice cheddar cheese.

Serve fruit punch with the lunchables and have a fruit tray.
