What should I serve with this?

making an "All American meal"

A sauté  of sliced potatos, red pepper and onion, flavored with garlic and basil. I'd like to see a little sour cream and ketchup as a condiment....maybe with some hot peppers. Yum!

I would serve baked beans, macaroni salad, cole slaw, French fries, onion rings, cottage cheese, applesauce, Jello and apple & cherry pie.

traveling and Lon have the best answers. They know what to serve with the All American Hot Dog!!! I love having (for some crazy reason) NY style cheesecake for dessert after we indulge in chili dogs. We always have either fries, onion rings or fried mushrooms with the dogs. A side of potato salad is another good choice. If not cheesecake, walnut brownies.
