Question:

What should I study at College?

I have just received my GCSE results- I got 10 A's-C's including an A in English Literature, a B in English language and a B in Maths.

Furthermore I have just been to enrol at College for the following A levels- English Language and Literature combined, Geography and Spanish (I got C's for both of these subjects).

However I am un-sure about the Spanish as I do not fancy speaking this in class all the time as I will be very nervous.

Moreover I am also pondering on whether to turn up for enrolment next week for Travel and Tourism BTEC National Certificate course but I wanted to combine this with the English A level but they said at college this would be too much.

What should I do?

  1. This is a good time to take time to plan your future. Meet a career counsellor and get him to help you if you can find one free. If you have a favourite teacher ask her/him for a meeting to educate you and your Dad/Mum.

Think and take time to write down your aspirations, what you want to do with your life, think of your strengths and weaknesses.(all internal factors)

Discuss with your Dad, Mum and other family members to find out what they expect from you, but be rational and follow your dream.

    All the best.
