  1. Take any class in which you have to write a term paper.  Lawyers do a lot of research and need to be able to communicate their ideas in writing.

  2. Just concentrate on getting into the best college you can. Law schools don't pay attention to your high school grades, and take people from a wide range of majors-- I knew a guy who majored in biology and got into the University of Chicago law school for instance. In general just make sure you take classes in something academically reputable (ie at many colleges some majors have a reputation for being easy ways to get a degree-- 'community studies' was a good example at the school I went to-- avoid these) and get really good grades.

    In general:

    1) Go to the best college you can. Reputation counts.

2)Talk to a guidance counselor about law school early in your Freshman year.

    3) Start looking into the LSAT early. The law school entrance exam is tough, and you want to be well prepared for it.

    Good luck.

  3. business law

  4. Take history and english. I am going for law this fall ;) and that is what MY COLLEGE told me to take. Math and sience dont really play a huge part in law, and when they do its things like finger prints and dna and stuff like that.

  5. Your high school classes have absolutely no impact on it outside of getting you into a college. Then in college those classes absolutely do not matter either because law schools accept all kinds of degrees. It doesn't matter if you major in poli sci, business, english, philosophy etc. Just get good grades, that is the only requirement.
