Question:

What should I use for going natural with makeup?

I am 13 years old, and I am very petite. I have olive skin, and dark brown hair, that is a little bit past my shoulders. I am not a "girly-girl", but I don't dress up like tom-boys to school; I dress very casual. I was thinking of using some make-up during this school year, to be a little bit more "girly". My mom told me that I can't do a lot of make-up, but to go more natural. So, what type of make-up would I do, like eye-liner, lip-stick, in terms like that? Would I leave out any places on my face?

  1. First, put a thin line of brown eyeliner on your lower lashes.  Second, curl your upper lashes with an eyelash curler.  Third, put on a thin coat of clear mascara on your upper and lower lashes.  Fourth, put on some lip balm.  Lastly, put on one layer of lip gloss.  Doing this gives you that innocent "Girl-Next-Door" look.

  2. a light eyeliner--maybelline line stylist in bronze gleam is great!!!

a light shadow--covergirl tapestry taupe is my favorite

brownish black eyeshadow--covergirl fantastic lash is the best

  3. try a powder foundation (make sure it matches skin tone) eyeliner in brown, and a pale lipgloss (try burts bees for color and clear, alba for clear flavored, or smackers.)

  4. im a freshman in highschool.

    and i do

black eyeliner (soemtimes brown) on top lid

    blush

    nude lipgloss

    and thats about it..

    u could try that..

or u can put eyeliner on top AND bottom lid. also

blush is always good if u dont already have pink cheeks.

u could use foundation, and compact powder(i only use it during emergency)

two coats of mascara (brown or black)

and a lil lipgloss, dont make it look too shinny and glossy

    hope i help.

  5. try a brown eyeliner on the bottom of your lids.

    a little bronzer for color.

    brown or clear mascara.

and lipgloss. i wouldnt suggest lipstick,

and you should try mineral makeup, its soo good for your skin and just feels better.

    hope i helped!

  6. Try a dark brown lid and a lighter brown to just below the brow, then use brown eyeliner, kind of lightly on the top and bottom, use one coat of mascara. Use a clear gloss to finish the look.

  7. Moisturizer on your face. You're young and have fresh skin there is no reason to cover it up.  Tinted lipgloss is all you need, Burt's Bees shimmer sticks are good and moisturizing on your lips.  A little bit of brown mascara to make your lashes stand out and frame your eyes. And for a special occasion a little bit of a light colored shimmer eyeshadow on your lid.  Eyeliner will look to heavy and is hard to do right.

  8. i would try

    sachacosmetics.com

they have a lot of makeup for olive skintones

  9. Try Bare Minerals make up, it is a light powder that you cannot see or feel. It is great, I use it everyday and match it with a little blush and mascara and I look natural which I love. You can buy it on Sephora or Ulta and they can match it to your skin color.

  10. if you want a natural foundation that is very light and subtle, go with pur minerals... its is a powder foundation and it makes your skin feel like butter... i can't even tell that I'm wearing makeup

also, maybe go with either a plum eyeliner or a chocolate eyeliner and just put it on top of the eye, not underneath

then, use a little bit of black mascara to finish it off

if you really want a lipstick, go for a sparkly more neutralish tone

  11. i'm the same exact description but i have blonde hair. use a light brown eyeliner on the inside of your eye. and brush some dark brown eyeshadow in a very thin line, (but not too thin) undrneath you eye. use some brown mascara, and a nude eyeshadow.
