Looking for a refreshing but reading through the textbooks I used in class may not be the best way to go about this... Any recommendations (books or websites) ?

  1. I assume by your educatuon you're referring to the function/electrical fields/generation/etc.  If so your textbooks, probably, aren't the best source. You will, likely, find what you want in google. I googled 3 phase motor and got 963 hits. By refining your search with advanced search or " "you can probably get the information you seek.  Good Luck, this subject is dry as h**l.

  2. The most cited motor text seems to be Fitzgerald, Kingsley, Umans “Electric Machinery” if you don’t want to pay the price for a new copy of the latest edition, you can find a used copy of an earlier edition on eBay for what ever you want to pay. There is also interlibrary loan at your local library. You can order several texts for review and spen time with the one that you like the best.
