  1. just dish soap and water if you just want to clean it

  2. unless you want to take your wax off the paint I would just wash it with plain water and a sponge.

  3. try the local carwash! for what its worth,it will dry it as well!

  4. get a cleaner specific for cars...don't use anything else..

I like rain x car wash with wax

    Good luck!

  5. If you must, use only water.

Household cleaners like dish soap or multi-surface cleaners will remove the protective coating of wax and could potentially cause some minor damage to the paint. Only use car soap on cars. Also, remember to wax your car at least twice a year.

I suggest you go to autozone and buy a bottle of soap for you car, a bottle of wax, tire shine, wheel cleaner, interior protectorant and some shammies and terry clothes. If you properly clean your car, you will use all of these at least twice a year.

  6. NO dish soap, that is too harsh of a degreaser,  any car soap in walymart is better than dish soap......

  7. Wash your car in the evening or in the shade- don't ruin the nice even color of your paint-job.

Dilute dish-soap in a bucket of tepid water. Not too sudsy. Wash with soft cloth. Rinse with hose or buckets of water. Dry with clean soft cloth.

  8. A good dish washing soap is OK but it would be better to go buy regular car wsh soap. I assume you do know to wash your car in the shade.

  9. Go buy some soap, House hold cleansers are designed to cut grease, which will also strip wax off your paint.
