From what I've heard, I need to wear comfortable clothes, tennis shoes, clothes to move around in, but do i need to wear makeup? should i wear my hair up? Cause I have no idea.

Also, (if you have auditioned for one of these jobs for disney before) do they tell you what role you made, or do you come in auditioning for a certain role?

answers are appreciated! thanks so much!

  1. You should just wear anything you feel you can audition your best in...but after your audition, I think that you should go to The film, stage, and Showbiz Expo in NYC on Sunday September, 21. Last year I was an-out-of-work actor. I went to the Expo, which is free by the way, and I made connections with other actors, producers, directors, agents, investors, publicists, costume designers. It was awesome. I also auditioned for agents and I went to great workshops. I think you should check it out at Theshowbizexpo.com. It is actually a great event for anyone in the entertainment industry.

  2. Well what show are you auditioning for? I'd bring hair bobbles and some make-up just in case but you don't have too. Disney like people who stand out and make a difference. If, however, you are auditioning for something like 'Lilo And Stich' where it's ment to be a holiday theme then go with the whole hair up sitch. But if it's a more classic production such as 'Aladdin' or 'Beauty and the Beast' consider what you are hoping to audition for and work your look to that effect. You should have a fair idea before you audition what you want to audition for but it doesn't have to be set in stone. Hope this helps! And good luck!!!
