What should I wear on the first day of seventh grade?

I am a 12 year old girl entering the 7th grade. I'm not sure what I am going to wear yet on the 1st day of school. I bought some new clothes, but mainly for winter because my mom thinks since I have summer and spring clothes, I can just wear thoose. I want to look nice, but I dont want to make it seem like I'm trying to hard or anything like that...Please help! Thanks!! =]

Just wear something simple that will stand out, don't try and follow trends. Wear whatever is comfortable and whatever you think looks good and will get you noticed.

A nice denim skirt would look nice enough but not too fancy. If you wore a basic tee it looks like you didn't try really hard but if you were to wear a nice sweater over it, it would look like you put some effort into it. Then a pretty and simple necklace and a pair of flats. Nice but still casual. I think you'd look great in somthing like that.

Well me I'm a college student and I was confused as well on my first dat. Just wear a nice tink top with jeans and some cute jewelery to match! That's all you have to do.

I wore a yellow Hollister tank and white shorts. you can just wear a cute tee and shorts or pants or a tank top and something else. If you don't want to make it seem like you're trying too hard then just don't wear anything super flashy. Keep your accessories simple, but cute. I would just wear your summer or spring clothes, unless it's cold where you live, wearing winter clothes isn't the best way too go. Hope this helps!

I would just wear what you normally wear.

You don't want to wear anything fancy, or let's say you have one Hollister top, don't wear that one on the first day, because you don't have any others.

On my first day of 7th grade I wore a purple shrug with a white cami underneath, and jean capris, and my fave shoes and earrings. But that's not quite the style anymore...

Well, you want to look special on your first day, but keep it subtle. What I'm planning to wear is purple skinnies, a cool shirt, nikes and my favorite zebra hoodie. Try wearing something nice!

well im in 7th grade and for the first say of school i wore jean Bermuda shorts with black and with polka dot shirt with a small cap sleeve that wasn't to fitted and went down sort of low, it was like a baby-doll top with a scope neck. it looked really pretty on and i got a ton of complements that day!
