What should I wear to a Hollister Interview?

What should I wear to a Hollister Interview? I figure I wear a Hollister shirt, or a darker more "formal" polo.. but I'm not sure what I should wear for pants. Do i wear slacks (would kind of look odd with Hollister clothes), or jeans? I have 0 Hollister or Abecrombie jeans, I mostly have skinny jeans, is that ok to wear?

Also would it be ok to wear a Abercrombie shirt vs a Hollister one, the Abercrombie ones I have look much nicer then the Hollister ones. The hollister one kind of looks cheap.

Any more suggestions? ty

  1. waer something tht they will remember you by. nothing crazy but something cute and close to the fashion the store carries

  2. Okay I'm going to answer your question first

I think a polo in a dark color would look nice and yes the skinny jeans are fine

    BUT

Why would you want to work at Hollister? :/

It's a bad example for younger kids everywhere with their S****y clothes and adds

They only hire you because you're pretty and not on your working skills so as long as youre hot youre in

They use real animal fur in their clothes

And my friend worked there for 2 months but then they fired her because she wasn't spraying the perfume right! HOW RIDICULOUS!

  3. No, definitely wear Hollister otherwise they'll wonder why you're not applying to Abercrombie. Wear a denim skirt to the interview. It would look a little better than dress pants, but nicer than regular jeans. As for shoes, wear a pair of flats or wedges. But I agree with April on working there. They only hire people because they're good looking and flirts, it has nothing to do with personality, except for being flirtatious.

  4. hollister clothing ...abercombie is ok because they are all part of the same company but hollister is ideal...they want their workers to be walking billboards on how good the clothing looks so that people will be more enticed to buy their clothing.

  5. hollister and abercrombie both suck. But I would wear a hollister shirt just to be a brown noser.

  6. wear clothes, not hollister c**p so they no ur not trying to suck up to them....

  7. they don't really care so much about what you wear to the interview. its more about what you say. they really like outgoing people who can represent the brand once they start working there. once you start working there, you have to wear the clothes in the same colors that the mannequins are wearing. for the interview i'd say try to stick to hollister at least for the shirt but the jeans don't really matter. try to wear something thats in style though, like the clothes that the mannequins are wearing now

  8. either their clothing style or similar styles

    like what their workers wear

itll show that you want to follow rules and stuff making you a good potential employee

  9. hey, I used to work at Hollister, and I now work at A&F.

For my Hollister interview, I wore dark wash Laguna skinny jeans from Hollister, and a Hollister California t-shirt, that said Hollister Co on it, but really small kinda inside the picture, so it wasn't too obvious.

I would wear the darker polo, and wear a tank underneath, they love layering. Then pair it with jeans, and wear flip flops, which they also love. If you have any of those flowy babydoll tanks, a lot of models there have been wearing those a lot, because of the beachy feel, and it fits well into the hollister "look"

And no, do not wear an Abercrombie shirt to your Hollister interview, it shows them that you're representing another brand (even thought the two companies are under the same management). It looks better if you wear Hollister.

Just make sure you're super outgoing and answer their questions with brief, but explanative answers, so they know you really want the job and that you work well with customers.

    Good luck with your interview!

  10. wear a hollister shirt with a plaid pair of bermudas but make sure that the color of the shirt is one of the colors in the plaid Bermuda's

  11. I'd suggest you wear Hollister, you definatly not NOT want to wear Abercrombie to your interview. I'd say the darker more formal polo with nice khaki pants. =)

  12. You should definitely wear the Hollister shirt and the Hollister jeans.

The interviewer will like you much better if you're wearing clothes from the store you're applying at than clothes from a competitor.

    Good Luck!

I hope you get the job!
