  1. In my humble opinion, the Regency was the period when we were best dressed.

    Go for a Regency costume style. . . .

It helps if you can insert some Regency slang into your conversations.

  2. I'm not really sure if you would call it original but minnie mouse would be cool!

  3. Um...ahh I'm so bad at those!! But...

Grapes - wear a purple leotard and attach purple balloons all over, then add green leaves at the top.

An envelope - I saw this at Purim in Israel. A girl had a triangular shaped piece of cardboard with a hole for the head, and she painted it like a post envelope and added stamps etc.

A tube of toothpaste - massive carboard box and paint it like a colgate pack. weird but...HAHAHA.

A peacock - black leotard with peacock feathers all over, feather mask, paint feathers with glitter all over your legs...

And autumn breezes -  fishnets/ leggings/skirt in earthy colours, then stick (clean) autumn leaves all over yourself.

Sorry these kind of suck, but I saw most of them at Purim, a festival in Israel where everyone dresses up.

  4. Minnie Mouse

    black turtle neck

white short dress or long tank top

    pink shorts

    black leggings or jogging pants

    black hat

    cardboard

    black material or felt

    pink felt

    white gloves

    glue gun

This costume is adorable and so easy to put together. Your child layers the clothing... jogging pants with pink shorts on top. The black turtleneck with the dress/tank on top. Cut 2 small slits in the top of the hat. Cut 2 ear shapes from the cardboard (making a tab on each one that can be pushed through the slit in the hat) and cover with the black material or felt... I just used a gluegun to attach when I made this costume a few years back. Slip the ears into the slits in the hat and secure with the glue gun. Cut a bow shape from the pink felt and attach to the front of the hat and to the ears so it won't flop over. White gloves completes the outfit.

p.s its a superb costume, and soooooo simple to do, i have done it countless times

  5. Get some blue face paint, you could go as a smurf, it would look so funny.

  6. I got a Japanese gothic lolita dress from ebay and some vampire teeth for my birthday party last year. It kinda looked like a vampire porcelain doll. Check my bebo site for some scary lookin pics of my party.
