  1. Where do you live?

    What will the weather be?

    What is your budget?

Is the wedding simple or an extravagant one?

And what is your figure like?

Do you know other guests that you can ask what they are wearing?

  2. I think a maxi dress would be fine.  They are a bit more informal, which balances it being long.  Try a nice print, maybe in a fall-ish color.

  3. Hello, my fellow Ohio friend! (I'm near Wooster, OH)

I know maxi dresses are the new item this season, but I don't know how the weather will be. I love the fall, especially the fashions!  I would opt for a long skirt or a skirt to your knees. I would also consider wearing long boots with a heel. You could even get away with wearing a nice turtleneck with the skirt. With your dark hair, I would look for colors along the lines of dark browns, reds, oranges etc. You will look great!

  4. I would recommend browns and reds or maybe a baby yellow colored dress. But all this depends on your body type. Browns can only work if you have a slimmer body type. Reds can work either way depending on the shade. Yellow is a neutral color. You want to stay away from the wedding colors though unless you ARE part of the wedding party such as bridesmaid ect. As for the length of the dress it depends where the wedding is located. If its in a cooler climate then long is better if its hotter shorter is better. But dont go too short. maybe knee length.

    Hope this helps

  5. I rarely see guests wearing long dresses at a wedding.  Try a tea length dress... it's  very flattering ...depending on the weather, you might want to go strapless and bring a medium warmth shall.  A shall can be very helpful if its cold, but kinda classy / s**y as well ;)

  6. How formal is it?  (Is it an evening wedding indoors or a lunch-time wedding out in a garden, etc?)

Here are some dresses I think would be nice...
