I don't really want to wear pink tights because I've put on some weight in the hip area now that I'm not a teenager lol

  1. a pair of Air Force issued BDUs

  2. Wear a leotard and black tights instead of pink because they are slimming.

  3. You should wear what is required to wear on the dress code. It is important to follow the rules in ballet/dance. If you do not, it can result in not dancing for the class period, or sitting out during the class period.

Mosly all dance schools dress code are

          ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€Â¢ Black Leatard

          ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€Â¢ Pink Tights

          ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€Â¢ Pink Ballet Slippers

If you do not feel conforable wearing this, you may want to try exersising. And losing weight in the area you don't fell confident in.

  4. shirt and short shorts

  5. sweat shorts or sweat capris/gouchos with a tank top or cami and canvas ballet shoes, older people wear those, or the leather ones

  6. I would do tights and a leotard anyway. You can wear shorts or movable Capri pants (like workout or jogging pants maybe even jazz pants) over your tights. You want to look like you're going to ballet class, not jazzercise. Wear your hair off your neck it looks neater and keeps you cool. You'll want to get ballet shoes. Canvass shoes are easier to wash as you can just throw them in the washing machine and stick them in the dryer. They are pretty durable and comfortable, but will not stretch to your foot like leather will so they shouldn't be too tight when you purchase them. Leather may last longer in most occasions but canvas is typically cheaper.

I would go for a split sole shoe because it's more flattering on your foot for pointing and more comfortable.

    Hope this helps!

    Have fun in your class!!
