What should I wear to an interview with a nanny placement agency?

The interview is with an agency not a family. I was thinking a pretty blue and white floral skirt and a blue polo shirt. Is that appropriate? What would you wear?

  1. I agree with Robinson, wear any nice dress for your interview. Remember that your first impression, makes a lasting impression. And you only have one chance to make your first impression. Good luck !

  2. I think that would be just fine.  It's conservative and not overly dressy. Do not wear flip flops.  Sandals are fine, but leave the flip flops home!    I wore a similar outfit to an agency interview and was warmly received.  That agency also videotaped part of the interview to show to potential families ~ I didn't know that ahead of time!  Also, wear something similar for your family interviews.  Again, it's not overly dressy and will allow you to get down on the floor with the children.  Good luck!

  3. Wear any decent and nice looking dress suitable for this occasion.

  4. Just remember: conservative. If you were the one hiring for your child and a young lady showed up with her belly hanging out, tattoos, etc. what would you think?
