He's being baptized in a catholic church, and then there is a outdoor party for him afterwards.

  1. if it's a catholic church, then you have to wear something decent. no spaghetti straps, or short mini-skirst. you won't be allowed in.

for my nephew's baptisim in catholic church i wore a floral print dress, just under my knees, very flowing and then a wrapped a sheer shawl on my shoulders because it had straps.

  2. hahahahaha! I love the first answer you got....'you won't be allowed in'!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wear what ever you are comfortable in. Think wedding wear and then just tone it down a bit.

You would never be turned away from any church, regardless of what you chose to wear. In our church if that was the case half of them wouldn't be allowed in!!!

  3. yes, i agree, unless you're going to some churches in Rome, you can pretty much wear whatever you want to a catholic church in the states...stay comfortable, christenings are really not very formal....I'd probably wear a summer dress with spaghetti straps and a light sweater that I can take off for the outdoor party.
