  1. Whatever he wants ,Its his money.

  2. That´s his business.

  3. How would feel if they falsely accused you of murdering/abducting a child? I'm sure you would sue as well. He deserved that money after the h**l he has been through.

  4. Spend it on himself, the papers have been stupid enough to accuse him in what has been judged an unfair and untruthful way so why not?

  5. Invest some of it in seeking damages against the people who made the allegations in the first place.

  6. Start a new life, God knows he deserves it after what the Mccann friendly media put him through.

  7. agree with Gotcha, above.

he should give it away to the NSPCC.

  8. Give it to charity.  I understand he had previously been convicted of paedophilia, therefore he gave up his right to a good reputation in my opinion.  If I am wrong about his previous conviction, then I apologise.

  9. News and jobs-http://ndtvnews.net/

  10. Anything he wants too.

  11. He should donate the lot to any number of Missing Children organsations.

Did he once mention that he hoped Madeleine would be found safe ? No... didn't think so. The parasite.

Well said Michael W. It is 600k though. Sky News.

  12. An innocent man has been hounded for months on end, both by the media and by a few idiots on the web, why shouldn't he have some compensation?

Perhaps he should spend some of it on his own private investigator - in an attempt to discover what the parents were really doing on May 3rd, now that  would be interesting wouldn't it?

  13. I understood that the "payout" was between £250,000 and £500,000 so where do you get the extra £100,000 from ? As for what he should do with the money he should give the lot to his mother who helped get him get off the hook with her false alibi

  14. Try and regain some normality back in his life. His life has been turned up side down but throughout it all he has behaved with dignity and 'fully' cooperated with the Police at every step. And as another user said I think he should look into suing those who accused him in the first place, the 'real' perpetrators....

  15. It would certainly enhance his apparently tarnished reputation if he gave at least some of it to a charity or other fund raising body of his choice.

EDIT - why the thumbs down for suggesting that he behave in a charitable manner?  Idiots!

  16. The right thing would be to donate it to a charity for missing children. He hasn't really earned it. He may have suffered but since that that suffering has come about from the greater suffering of a missing child, the right thing would be to remember them. Lets hope he does.

  17. Share it with the McScams, because that was the plan.

  18. Offer a large reward for information as to the ware abouts of Madddi Mccann.

  19. I don't think that he will be spending it on  Labour party spin doctors or Pinochet's lawyers.Innocent people don't need to do that.

  20. Keep every penny.  The press have destroyed his life - he is an innocent man only trying to help two serial child neglectors find their child - he really shouldn't have bothered.

The McCanns also got a similar settlement - they are still taking the Portuguese policy to court - I wonder what they have done with the money?

  21. Hopefully spend it on a good solicitor.  He'll need one now that scummy tabloids have prejudiced his case by printing lies and speculation about him.  "Innocent until proven guilty" is just a phrase to some people.
