Bright colors.  Asian inspired.  Something like this:

This is one of the few occasions where you can get away with really loud jewel tones.  For an Asian girl, I like red, gold, bright yellow, or emerald green.  Something with a bit of shimmer.  However, any modest dress will do.  As for shoes, it doesn't really matter.  A ballet flat that matches a color in the dress is fine.
