My 8 month old is the size of an 18 month old. He isn't unhealthy according to his doctor, just a big boy. He is 22lbs and 31 inches long. As long as your doctor says baby is healthy i wouldn't worry about the weight. One of the books i have puts the average weight of an 18 month old boy at around 25lbs.

It does depend on the baby, as long as their development is fine, and they are healthy. I would have to say...about 25 maybe? My daughter is 9 months a just weighed in at 17.6

Well, every baby is actually different.  You can calculate it here on this chart and keep track.  Depends on the height of your son as to what the average weight is.

My baby girl is 17 months and she is 32 inches tall and only weighs 21 lbs.  Some ppl may say she is under weight but she is very healthy.  She eats more than other babies her age and she is so active.  She has a very high matabolism.  Her doc said not to worry about bcuz she is very healthy.  She is just tall that's all.

Well, my son is 7 months almost 8 and he weighs about 20lbs. He is mistaken a lot of the time for at least 14 months old, and is in 12 months+ clothes. I'd say the average weight for a 14 month old is somewhere between 20-25lbs.
