They should consider not doing it.  But more specifically they should consider the effects and impacts the nonindigenous species would have on native species.  There should be extensive research conducted on the effects of the introduction as well as research on how invasive the species is.  Controlling a nonindigenous species is of the upmost importance.


  2. It could get out of control if the animals or plants reproduce rapidly.  The ecosystem can quickly be unbalanced.  Read the wikipedia report below on the Australian Cane Toad problem which pretty much shows what can happen and what must be considered.
