What should a guy do when listening to his gf?

Should he go ummm huu when she is talking or no way or nice etc. so it would seem like hes interested. And what way should he looks at her and where should his hands be?

his hands should be in his lap,  and he should be looking into her eyes, and not just saying "yeah ".. or " mhmmmm " he should be maybe telling his stories, putting in his imput.. not just agreeing, honesty.

Uuuhhh... If I were listening to my girlfriend, I'd actually... listen.  My hands would be at my sides, and I'd be looking her in the eye.  I'd think that's pretty obvious.

You can say things like what you were mentioning, but do so wisely. Don't say "that's great" or "yeah" after everything she says because she could get annoyed or think you're not truly listening because you're saying the same thing. It also helps to nod every once in a while. It's also really impressive if you ask her follow-up questions about something that she says.

For example, if she says something like, "I think what the government is doing for global warming is hardly successful," ask her something along the lines of 'What should they do?" or "If you were in a high position, what would you do or propose about it?" It shows you're listening and interested.

If a guy isn't listening, that's really irritating.

Be sure to look your girlfriend in the eyes. Her eyes are not on her b***s. Remember that. :)

Keep your hands relaxed and down by your sides. Don't cross your arms or put your hands on your hips because you'll send he messages that you're aggressive, annoyed, or you just don't want to be there.
