My son is being christening in September and I really don't want to spend $50 on a christening outfit he'll only wear once. Can he just wear white pants and a white oxford top? Any other suggestions?

  1. I would think that would be fine and it is ridiculous to spend a lot on an outfit but then again if you are planning on having more children you can always pass it on in the family and it would be nice for a keep sake - after all it is silly to spend a lot of money on a wedding dress as well since we are only going to be wearing it once (hopefully) but we still do :)

  2. you put him anything you want to ! God doesnt look at the clothes he looks at the heart

i am sure that you will have a great day

  3. I would just dress him in white, including a white hat.  In my family we used the same christening outfit for every girl and it was just a white sun dress.

  4. he can wear anything you and he are comfortable with. make sure the top is loose and easy to open. and have a wonderful day.

  5. i dunno. its traditional to wear that. my daghters dress alone was $95.oo its a keep sake. but i duess just as long as its all white then get it. but i would really get the christenin suit

  6. anything you can wear white or anything lights its not about the clothes just the commitment, i having the same problem we don't have lots of money to spend on a dress for 3 hours so my 9 month well will be a little over 10 month old will be wearing just a nice dress. (i don't think god would mind)
