What should an "emo" teen girl wear in Paris?

I'm going on a school trip to Paris.

I guess you could say I dress stereotypically "emo".

What should I wear there that wouldn't look too "American"?

I don't want to p**s off any Parisians because of the way I dress. ^^"

Hey sweetie.  I am going to go out on limb here and guess that you have more then a few black pieces in your waredrobe. Am I right?

Bring those, comfy shoes cause you will be doing ALOT of walking, and enjoy. Paris is an amazing city (I have been 3 times in 2 years). As long as you relax and have fun you should be good. Remember Paris is a very fashion  forward city and is used to all types of people. I think when it comes down to it, it more about attitude then looks. Conduct yourself nicely, be respectful and not s****. and you should be good to go. HAVE FUN!!! and go to shakespear and company if you get the chance. It's the best english book store you will ever go to.

p.s. I was told by a parisian that the one that they can tell and american is white tennis shoes. leave those at home. :-)

I live in Paris and have never heard of it.

Parisians don't care - they are used to all - nobody cares and one american more or less quacking in Paris will not change the heigth of the Eiffel Tower
