What should be done to help restore democracy to Myanmar?

What would be the best course of action to take that would help sort Myanmar out?

Sometimes it seems like it's being totally ignored because it doesn't have the oil like some other countries we could mention...

What do you think we should do?

What can the Burmese (sorry I don't know what you call a person from Myanmar) do on their own to throw off the yoke of tyrrany?  Aung San Suu Kyi and her obvious bravery should be commended.  But you have to start to question the wisdom of pursuing a nonviolent path of resistance when dealing with a military junta that has no qualms about brutally oppressing its own people.  The Burmese may need to rise up and "assert" themselves more forcefully...

We should stay out of it. We can't afford the cost of either financial or troop support.  We are spread too thin.
