What should be elements of acquisition communication strategy?

While working on digital marketing plan what should be elements which need to focus in segment of "Acquisition Communication Strategy".

I have visited some blogs and am confused that all the major segments of Digital Marketing are repeated under the same sections, so how this strategy cab be different from all those main segments.
