  1. Flash light, electrical tape, s***w driver ,2 adjustable wrench's

flares. band aids and  first aid kit, blanket or warm coat. dry socks, handgun, extra set of clothing. radio and batteries and I all ways carry a car charger for my cell phone. MRE's and extra batteries for everything

  2. You never know what you might need in case of an emergency. Make sure you keep the following items in your vehicle.

    Fully charged cell phone

Pen or pencil and a pad of paper

    Vehicle operating manual

    Emergency service information

    Signal flares

    Instant plug for flat tires

    Flashlight with extra batteries

    Bottled drinking water

    Preserved snacks

    Blanket

    Paper towels

    Jumper cables

    Warning triangles or reflectors

    Engine coolant

    Windshield wiper fluid

    Tire pressure gauge

    Ice scraper

Vehicle jack with flat board for soft surfaces

Tool kit including duct tape and heavy gloves

    Umbrella

  3. If you do mostly city driving (or near a city), then all you need is a jack, spare tire, and AAA membership.

    Good Luck...

  4. A flashlight and/or flare

A blanket if you live where it gets cold

Medical stuff like bandages, tape, scissors, etc

    Perhaps a change of clothes?

    Jumper cables

I don't keep a blanket, but I keep everything else above in my car, plus some basic tools (screwdriver, pliers, ratchet and set of sockets) since my car likes to break down a lot.

Some people keep a cellphone in their car, but don't carry it around with them.  I always have mine in my pocket, so don't need one for the car.

  5. ONSTAR ... A membership in AAA... and a cell phone

  6. First Aid kit with Thermal blanket, Jumper cables, road flares, and flag's (to attract help) sometimes a little gas can (1 gal) in case you are in need. sometimes even 1 bottle of Oil (your cars type 10-30, etc) 1 bottle of ATF (automatic trans. fluid) 1 bottle of coolant. and last but not least a AAA membership.

  7. I keep jumper cables, tow rope, tire chains, fire extinguisher,  candle, matches, a space blanket for every occupant, a couple of MREs and a gallon of water.  I also carry a basic medical kit at the minimum in every vehicle.  As strange as this sounds the single best thing in these kits is a box of Maxi-Pads, they are sterile, cheap and fantastic for field dressing wounds.

  8. All you need is a spare tire, aid kit and your AAA
