  1. Your major should be biology, or a double major in biology and chemistry, with a minor in psychology.  Psychiatrists become M.D.'s first, so they have to know how the body works.  Then they move on to their specialty, which involves the workings of the mind.


  2. I'm not sure, but I will tell you you're gonna need to become an MD first, which takes a long, long time.
