  1. Depending on where you live. In most cases, the child should be four by  September 1st. But there are many school districts and private schools that accept children at three years of age ;)

  2. FOUR !!!

  3. 2 or 3 because it is better if the child works with letters a few years before Kindergarten so that it is easier for them to put the letter sounds together and read faster.

  4. Depends on the location in US. Here it is 3 years old by December 1st of the year enrolling, you can start at 2. And they offer both 3s and 4s classes, 2 to 5 days per week where I live. And you can go to preschool for 3 years if you like. Sometimes the child would be turning 5 (the age you start Kindergarten) after the start date of late August, first week September...in which case some parents hold their children back another year before putting them in to Kindergarten. Most people say this is a great idea for boys especially, for social reasons. This is what I've been told by about 95% of the people when I asked about it as well. It's great for socialization putting them in at 3 years for 2 days a week. Good luck!

  5. Preschool? 4 I think

But some schools have a 'young 4s' class, if your kid's birthday falls short of the admission age.

  6. 3
