What should be the best solution to solve disput beetwen India & Pakistan on kashmir issue.?

Issues like this have been solved in the past by genocide and assimilation.

As we don't want to advocate such an approach there are several approaches.

1. Give Kashmir functional independence from both India and Pakistan but with certain things such as constitutional restraint and foriegn policy set by say India. So baically they are like an independent country within India.

Actually other solutions such as internal referundums and division are likely to produce further conflict. They are a possibility but I think solution one would be the best.

Democracy will succeed if the country is governed as per the wishes

of the people concerned. So let the people of J & K decide.

Let them fight a conventional war and who ever wins take over the other impoverished country. There is no different between one or the other accept the religion believes.
