I work for a company that is sponsoring my MBA at Hofstra university. I want to get my MBA, but am usure of what my concetration should be. I have an accounting undergrad, have attempted the CPA and auditing but really disliked it.

I was thinking of majoring in three areas and have read the course descriptions of each, but am not sure whats best for my future career in business. I plan on talking to the advisor in the next few weeks, but am looking for opinions of the general public. The three area's I am considering are as follows:

International Business

Finance

Management

What are your thoughts?

  1. I have similar concerns, too.  I do not enjoy accounting but the corporate world is highly demanding CPAs.  Anyway, you have to ask yourself where you want to work upon obtaining the MBA.  Those three majors are difficult, but it will lead you towards a narrower road.  Research the jobs you want to take on after graduation, and it can give you a better idea of the field you should study.  Good luck!
