What should be the measurments be for an enclosure for 2 12's??

I have two 12 inch SPL's and i want to make a custom box for the to put in my '97 pontiac grand am. Im not sure what the mounting depth is on the subs but i want the box to be a wedge enclosure(like a rectangle box with a slanted front). Can someone PLEASE help me out?

The manufacturer should have the recommendations on the instructions with your sub.

Go for the optimum size they recommend for best performance.
