  1. I think location is the priority.  You want something near home, because you really don't want to be traipsing your child on a long journey every day, twice a day.  Also, the children your child meets will be local, so friendship can be easily kept.  No transportation costs either (or very little).


  2. I think  a low ratio of teachers to children. If there are too many children in the class , the teachers get tired and then they get less patience .Shoot for no more than 8 children per adult. Also great teachers are important and a clean environment with lots of chices of things to do.

  3. Their way of tackling the child, and their way of training the child.

  4. there should not be any selection criteria for play school. infact criteria should be applicable to such schools on the contents of education that they should impart on kids... it should be at par with international standars keeping in my child psychology and Indian culture and values...
