I am making a story but now I'm doubting. First with the storyline and the second thing I'm doubting is the title. If anyone knows a title all answers are welcome, you can imagine a title if you read the story down here. But te story hisself I have problems to. So which storyline is better? Here is the story:

In a fantasy world the gods choose a hero who has to protect te world. (The world is made up with The Realm Of Light & The Realm Of Darkness and this realms have their gods: the God Of Darkness & the Goddess Of Light) And this hero gets a mystical and powerful weapon. This hero is a boy named Zero. Now there are several villains who wants to take over this fantasy world. (Now I'm stuck)

Storyline 1:

There is then a Realm Of Twilight to. This isn't light or darkness, it's in between those 2. And has his own goddess: The Goddess Of Twilight. Then Zero has the power of twilight, and twilight is then the side were Zero belongs. But this realm is sacred and locked from the other realms. It contains a powerful force that the villains wants and with that power trying to conquer the 3 realms . I like this story because it's not regular, it's special and pretty good.

Storyline 2:

There are only the Realm Of Light & Darkness. And Zero is here on the side of light and his the power of Light. And instead of the power from the Realm Of Twilight, that the villians wants, it's here just a powerful force. This story I like much because that Twilight is maybe a little strange. And only Light & Darkness is more ordinary.

So what do you choose Storyline 1 (with Twilight) or Storyline 2 (without Twilight). Thank you for responding. All answers are welcome!!!

  1. I'd say the one that speaks to you the most. Maybe you can take parts of each one? You could try begin writing one and see where it takes you.

Are you on any writing sites? I'm on http://chapteread.com They have cool features. worth checking out!! You can receive great feedback and help from other writers there! --- and good luck.

  2. I would go for the first one because it sounds more original than the villain just searching for "ultimate power". The power in the first storyline has a reason for being and not just floating about waiting for a villain/hero to come along.

Also with the first storyline you could elaborate to have Zero question if the Realm if Light is really the good side. Seeing as he is Twilight and therefore in the middle the villain could try and seduce him to the Realm of Darkness in order to use him to find the power.

I think that storyline one has a lot more variety and sounds like something I would be more likely to read. I think you could do a lot with the storyline and add on much more than you have written here.

Finally, it sounds like you prefer storyline one so thats another reason to choose it. You're far more likely to stick to a story you enjoy.

    Good luck and happy writing!!

  3. i like the first one better

even though the whole plot is a bit cliche, with the light vs dark (maybe think of different names) and Zero being inbetween, the Twlight world is a little different (good job on not making it the world of Grey!) and adds a little more excitment with both worlds fighting for it, not just making it the Darkness being jealous of the Light.

idk. i just like #1 better
