What should be the temperature inside a Kenmore 17 cu ft chest freezer?

I have heard anywhere from -22 degrees F to 5 degrees F.

Minimum temp should be 26 degrees. Anything greater will cause freezer burn too quickly and anything over will not freeze quickly enough.

I would not go below 22.

the artcle claimed that it was a  most set point for Freezers.
