Question:

What should happen if I don't pay a speeding fine?

This past weekend I was pulled over in Cook County, GA for speeding. I was written up for doing 80 in a 60 and was driving a rental car from FL. I have two driver's licenses. My full time license is from MA, and this is what I insure my car with. I also have a FL Only that I needed to get insurance for a job with a car dealer. I gave him my MA license and he wrote up the ticket for the car I was driving and the former address on my license (we have a spot for an address change on the back). What will happen if I don't pay, and will the points for this infraction go on both licenses' or just the MA one?

  1. They issue a warrant for your arrest, and the next time you are pulled over, they take you to jail

  2. Pay the fine, plain and simple.

  3. First it is illegal to have two  licenses in two different states...and if you don't pay the ticket your license will  be suspended
