the man said: are you crazy or what and point the finger.

he answered saying that he will not show

the man called his chief and said:you jerk

he said you can call the police

the man: who do you think you are?

he answered : and you?

he showed it to the man s chief

and told him; this man has to change ; this time that will pass but next time no.

in self-defense what do you have to do in this situation when the guy arrives so close and point the finger close to your face...

  1. The man was a paid security officer.  The store rules say that you must show your bag when leaving.

The person should have cooperated with the security officer.

By refusing to open his knapsack, he was escalating the situation and forcing the security officer to believe that there was cause for alarm.

Never confront a security officer or police.  Cooperate fully.

Outside of that situation, if someone sticks their finger in my face it would depend on if I felt: A. )  he was being macho and trying to intimidate me or impress his friends, or B.) if I felt he intended to cause me harm or steal from me.

In situation A, I would not make first contact, as long as he is not touching me, I would hold my ground, but not touch him.  I would not try to keep distance because I would be giving up my ground.

In situation B, if he is alone, I would immediately grab the finger and put him a chicken wing face down on the ground and hold him there until security arrived or I could get help.

If he has many friend with him and I was alone, I would probably break his arm at the elbow and create distance with a kick and try to run to a public place for help.

  2. didn't really catch any of that, sounds like someone shouldn't have been shoplifting

  3. Please ask relovant questions.

    Yield to overcome.

  4. That act of just pointing their finger in your face is not a reason to do anything.

What martial arts should teach you is the strength and wisdom to not react to provocation. Martial Arts is about self defense, making the first attack.

You keep cool and hold your ground. Now should that person actually attempt to strike or otherwise casue injury to you, you unlease with everything you have to stop the attack.
