I have a 9 year old bay Quarter Horse... His registered name is Keyhole Sassy Doc and if I change if what should it be????? I would like to keep the keyhole in it. (He has a brand of a keyhole on his hind end)

You can't just change it through the registry - if he's reg. his name is what it is - Keyhole Sassy Doc - which is very cute btw! HOWEVER, if you are looking for a unique barn name - I LOVE Keyhole! HOW UNIQUE IS THAT? We have a horse that my kids hate his name - DOLLAR BILL! He has a $ sign on his shoulder - and they wanted to change his name - AQHA says NO - what's done is done! So now they call him Dollar! it fits!

ii dont have many ideas, a lot of people answered with some great ones though.

ii just wanna say iits not bad luck to change iit. iive known plenty of people who have, and iit hasnt done anything.

Bostons Keyhole...ummm...I can't think of much with keyhole & his parents names.

I've always liked Intoxicating Image & Simply Majestic, maybe you can find a way to add those and Keyhole, like Image of a Keyhole...hmmmm...thats hard.

I would give him a very origional name.....Doc. To the other people posting I don't think he or she is going to change his registered name, he or she just want's a good barn name. It is not bad luck to change the registered name, when changing a quarter horse's registered name you have to pay a small fee.
