What should i SAY when i hand in resume in shops?

what should i say when i hand a resume into a retail or food/cafe type of shop??

You can just say "Hi I was wondering if your manager was hiring"

and if they say yes give them the resume.

Or instead you can just hand over your resume and ask the person to give it to their manager.
