  1. If they are diesel as if gas there they will put you in the poor house>

  2. When you come to South Carolina to test drive your 44 footer, look me up.

    Does it leak?

  3. Freshwater or saltwater? Not for the MN boat, but ask closed or open cooling system.

    Hours on the engines?

    Regular maintenance?

    Extras? Electronics.

    Why are you selling?

I have a million questions to give you.

Are you a boat owner now?

Want me to take a look at the Minnesota boat? I live in the "Land of 10,000 Lakes"

  4. You should ask when your surveyor can look at the boat.

Hire a competant marine surveyor that specializes in these types of evaluations.  A good surveyor will tell you any issues with the boat, which you can then use to re-negotiate or walk away.  Be smart and hire a marine surveyor.

    good luck!

  5. Ask you surveyor how much he is going to charge you first then base your questions to the owner on what the surveyor finds.
