  1. I fed my sons only fruits and veggies until nine months. Then I introduced meats and a little dairy. Cheese and yogurt mostly. Cows milk is acceptable only after one year- their little systems can't digest it until then and it makes bloody stool (ouch!)

About now you can start cheerios and puffs if you haven't yet. Baby will start to learn to pick these up. Avoid raisins and other small things baby can choke on.

How much formula? I fed my sons food when I ate. I saved milk to put them to sleep with and for car rides because then they learned to eat food and didn't learn to fill their tummies on milk. About one year is when cows milk should begin to replace formula. It should be served with meals and not in bed because the sugars rot their teeth. Never give a baby soda pop! It rots the teeth right our of their mouth and creates "Coke Mouth."

Oh yeah, if baby rejects a certain food keep serving it. Research suggests after 15 times you baby will like it. The rejection is worth not having a finicky eater later on.

Good luck and go with your gut- you'll be surprised at your success!
