  1. with mine i used to boil vegetables and blend them up and put them into icecube trays and freeze them. Then you have a perfect amount in one ice cube, its fresh and homemade.

For instance... boil some carrots, blens them with some of her baby formula milk to the right consistancy then freeze them, you always have a meal and it saves money. Start off with single vegetables so she gets to taste them, then you can start mixing 2 at a time for instance carrots and broccoli.

Its healthy and you know exactly what is in it, as they get older you just start to blend up your own meals, so you move onto potatoes, pasta, meat as they get older. My boys have always ate really well and i think its because they have always eaten food that ive cooked and the food that my husband and i eat ourselves. We even used to blendup a roast dinner when they were a bit older!

Try it, it saves money and your child eats YOUR food.

Good luck and best wishes x*x

Also weetabix are good to try at her age x*x

  2. At 6 months, I had just introduced cereals.  I would give rice, barley or oat ceral mixed with breastmilk.  Also maybe some mashed vegetables or fruit.  Waited on meats until about 8 months.  Maybe some little finger food like Cheerios.  She still needs lots of milk/formula, so you do not want to go overboard on solids just yet, IMHO.

  3. i give my babies lots of yogurt, cottage cheese, fruits, and baby cereal

  4. Awwww she is BEAUTIFUL!! I'm so jealous I want a girl...anyway. It depends when you started weaning her really. At that age my little man would have things like little sandwiches and picky bits like cubes of cheese, but he was started at 4 months.

You could try her with those, or else, try giving her whatever you had for dinner the night before - either whizzed up or chopped. If you'd rather jar feed her, try a jar rather than the mix with water bits. Also, she's big enough for youghurts/fromage frais now, I bet she'll love that :)

  5. she is a beauty.. i would just stick to jars for now or home made food that you have blended up.. you could try a yogurt after.. or some mashed up fruit.. my kids loved banana mashed!!

try not to panic.. seek advise from your health visitor he/she will be able to give you advise..

  6. gave her mash banana

a little bit of boil green pees or carrot

boiled very soft rice in little bit milk
