What should i be preparing for at 31 weeks?

only 9 weeks left and so happy but like what should i be doing ? and what are some things i should be buying at the store

  1. just start preparing! around that time I bought crib/changing table/little clothes (mostly to make me happy lol) cloth diapers, watched baby stuff.  I am 39 wks now and let me warn you ...time comes to a halt!


  2. I would have the baby's room ready, have a car seat bought, baby clothes washed and put away, and just generally have the general baby items ready for when baby comes home. As long as you are not a high risk pregnancy, you can still be doing normal household chores like vacuuming, dusting, laundry, dishes etc. If you plan to breastfeed have lots of nursing pads bought, nursing bras, maybe storage containers for the extra milk, perhaps a pump, etc. You could even start packing your bag for the hospital and have it ready if want.   3. Buying: finish the baby shopping if you haven't already, buy lots of diapers not so much size 1 though because I swear, they grow out of those in just a couple of weeks. Start buying wipes and storing them, you will need LOTS of wipes!!

    Doing: Clean the babies room, change your air conditioning/heating system filters because dust can get trapped in there and it isn't healthy to breathe, pack your bag for the hospital.

    If you have the room to do this I highly suggest it over everything else....freeze as many casseroles as you can fit in your freezer with directions neatly written on top of them that is "hubby proof" you will be grateful for them when you need to eat yet you have had 3 hours of sleep and really the last thing you want to do is cook. For my second, I learned my lesson the first time around and actually went out and spent $150 on a freezer!!

  4. I have 9 weeks as well I am so excited. I am having like 3 baby showers because family and friends live almost every where these days. I have been nesting a lot you know cleaning and all but for the most part I am keeping my doc appt and relaxing, practicing my breathing techniques and counting baby kicks.
