What should i be ?

Hi i wanna be an AeroSpace Engineer or Airline Pilot , which one should i be ? WHich is better and earns more money. I am also gonna do MBDA (missiles) work/GCSE.

What do you really want. There is two possible thrills

Flying the aircraft and being in control of it

(pilot)

Maintaining quite a few aircraft on a regular basis knowing how all thier systems work

(engineer)

Go where your heart is and don't do it for the money.

i want to become an airline pilot and they start at $150,000 a year.  someone said that they got paid $65 an hour.

Hey. Whatever you enjoy most... If longevity and security are any concern, go with the engineering. Pilots are furloughed often.

Aerospace engineer is going to make more money, but if your passion is flying then I suggest the pilot career. Pilots are always traveling and which puts stress on family life. Something to think about.

You can do both if you like, but it does depend on your passion.  Some like designing aircraft, some like just flying them, i don't think anyone here can tell you what you should do.  Keep this in mind- pilots are in the top 25 percentile of the people who are highly satisfied with their profession.  They might not get paid more than engineers, but its d**n fun.

Do what you will enjoy, and what you can have passion about. You will make more money as an engineer.  A pilot's job is rather rewarding, in terms other than money.
