What should i be when i am older?

Question

I really want to figure out what i wanna be when i am older!! I want to be acedemic and well paid and uses the skills i have studied.

For year ten options i chose:

French, German, Food tech, Media, MATHS,ENGLISH, science diploma, PE and RELIGOUS STUDIESbut the ones in capitals are the ones i have to do. i also love animals and cameras and i have a laptop too.

I wouldn't worry about it if you haven't made a decision yet - loads of people go into Year Ten not knowing what they want to do. In fact it's probably more unusual to already know exactly what you want to be when you go into Year Ten.

With that in mind, perhaps you could start thinking about your favourite courses, and your favourite elements of those courses, and begin to make a decision from there.

You could go with science and become a vet if you love animals. I heard that universities also love people who get work experience for courses like veterinary science and medicine, so you could get work experience in hospitals in france or germany too (that is apparently what a year 13 in my school did and a fellow year 11 is also going to a hospital in germany), if you are keen on modern foreign languages.

From recent news articles the worlds trends are clear indicating future needs and resolutions. I'd look closely at those and decide. Food is always going to be an issue as well as energy, health issues and medicine but one important area most have always over looked is skilled labor. Skilled labor one day soon will over take professional salaries. Have you noticed how hard it is now days to get something done and done right?
