  1. psp

  2. A really good novel, Some magazines, PSP, Mp3 player, a neck roll cushion, and eye-cover patch. A good snack is gummie bears. Don't forget to trasnfer them into clear ziploc bags. If bringing any electronics that require electricity, don't forget a transformer.

  3. -books

    -magazines

    -puzzles, like sudokus or crosswords

    -playing cards

-do you like to write? or knit?

-i know this sounds lame, but coloring books... haha

-Ipod (bring your charger for the stop in Amsterdam)

-depending on what airline you are flying, they may have a variety movie options and/or your own personal entertainment system

-portable DVD player/laptop (if you have one)

-snacks, drinks (airplane pretzels get old fast)

-the airline may provide you with pillows and/or blankets, but you will probably be more comfortable if you have your own.

-comfortable clothes (hey, I've worn straight up PJ's)

-I don't know what time of day you are leaving, but if you stay up all night the night before, all you will want to do is sleep on the plane, which is a good way to kill a few hours.

-and/or take Benedryl/Nyquil/Sleeping Pills (not all of them at once), to knock you out

    During the flight:

-make sure you stay well hydrated. I've made the mistake of not drinking enough because I hate going to the bathroom on planes, it just makes you feel sick.

-eat the meals they offer to you. you may think it's gross, but a little bit of meat in your stomach may help you feel better

-make sure you walk around every so often, you need to stretch your legs and get blood flowing-- and you'll feel better. Even doing stretches like you would do before exercising is a good idea (you may feel stupid, but it feels good).

  4. If you have a portable DVD player with ear phones and a few movies, that would be great as you never know if there will be in-flight movies available or if they are showing something you've already seen. If you like to read, bring a few books. If you like games, bring crossword puzzles, portable sets - like checkers and scrabble, or even cards. If you like to draw or write, bring a pad of paper and supplies. The more you have to do, the faster your flight will seem. Have a great trip!

  5. laptop, ipod/mp3, psp, books, trashy magazines, lollies - gum is the best, a pillow, cards, pen and paper

  6. iPod, Book(if u have a kindle those r beter), Sleep, PSP

  7. Laptop, iPod (charger so you can recharge the laptop and iPod in Amsterdam).

    Books

    Try to sleep

  8. NyQuil...jk.

if you have a portable DVD player i would just do watch movies. (u may not like the ones they play on the plane)

word searches/crossword puzzles (they can get boring pretty fast though)

    Magazines

Video Games if youre into that but i suggest you do something else rather than fry your brain.

But do the time math thing so you wont have jet lag when you get there. sleep according to the time zone youre going to so when you get there you wont be exhausted.

    hope this helps!  =]

  9. books

    ipod,mp3

buy some mags and candy at the gift shop in the airport

    gum

    a deck of cards

    handheld game device

    pillow

  10. My advice is to bring:

Cards (To play with yourself, and your Mom)

A Handheld Device (Such as a PSP, Nintendo DS, Etc.)

Books (Any kind, but ones youd be interested)

Laptop (If you have one, You wouldnt be able to have Internet though.)

An Ipod or Other music Device

A Pillow and Blanket (Just Incase ;D)

Portable Games (Like Chess, Othello, etc.)

    Pencil and A Drawing Book

A little Lamp (For reading, drawing, for anything when it gets darker and dimmer)

    And Thats what I think!

    XD

I hope your Trip goes well!

  11. Hah, I was just on a 15-hour flight so I know where you're coming from.

First of all, plane chairs can be really uncomfortable, especially when you want to get your sleep, so you should bring one of those comfortable pillows that go around your neck. Then, bring some stuff to keep you interested: an iPod, a really good, interesting book, a magazine, or a PSP like the other person said. For books, since it's on the plane you need something that keeps your interest, so fluff is okay (the Clique) or something like Harry Potter--books with more substance might bore you when there's nothing else to do. Also, bring pencil and paper and cards so you and your mom can play games.

Usually on international flights they have an entertainment system for you, with like movies and TV shows and stuff, soo yeah keep that in mind as well.

  12. a pillow :)

  13. OH boy have i been on tooo many 14 hours!! they suck when you dont bring anything. I would suggest a book to read, a crossword or word search book, any gameing system you have that is portable ( psp ,DS ,gameboy ) And some snacks ( if they let you anymore security is TIGHT ) You might also want a pillow unless you are flying first class, some gum to heko with popping ears when taking off and landing or just to chew it. and maby a sketch pad and a few pencils and pens. You would be supprised what you do when your bored and i have come up with many a goofy picture.
