  1. -black leotard

    -pink tights

    -pink ballet slippers

-hair back in a neat bun

That's the general uniform. Make sure the tights are the sturdy dance tights not cheep ones, same w/ the shoes, but for starting out you can purchase payless cheap shoes just to see how you actually like ballet first. Then go on to nicer ones, Bloch is good.

  2. Well, your school should have a dress code but I would bring a pink leotard or black cause the majority of them have pink or black leotards and suntan tights wear your hair in a bun or ponytail and when you go to there just start warming-up not that you can pull a muscle in begginers ballet LOL and mostly young students take begginers ballet so nobody has nothing to laugh at (not that they will laugh) and most ballet schools tuck their bows under if you buy a shoe with bows did you even read ANYTHING about your ballet school? LOL just kiddin good luck.

  3. Bring: ballet shoes

Wear: leotard and tights with hair in bun

    Expect: to work hard

    Good luck!

  4. depends on wat kind of ballet class it is. if it's rly imformal, wear pink tighits shorts a t-shirt, and keep ur hair away from your face. if it's a little bit more formal, u can wear a leotard, pink tights and keep you hair in a bun. of cousre, bring ballet shoes. see if your teacher wants a specail kind, ask her about that.

and here's a piece of advice...don't worry about it. first times for anything are nerve-wrecking, but assuming u took this class cuz u wanted to, just have fun!!

    good luck! xD

  5. When I was like 4, I wore a black leotard, white tights and my ballet flats. But that was a while ago, since I no longer do ballet and am 11 now. You want to bring water, shoes, maybe a couple of hair elastics, bobby pins for your bun and a bag. Sorry if you don't need everything, but hey, I was 4!

    Hope it helps!

  6. What to wear: I would show up in a simple black leotard and pink tights. Make sure the tights don't have any runs in them. Most studios prefer that you don't wear a bra underneath your leo (it's a lot to have going on), but if you really need one you should wear a simple black sports bra. Also, bring a pair of pink ballet flats to wear during class. Avoid big jewelry. Wear your hair in a bun and don't leave pieces hanging down in your eyes. If your studio specifies something else such as a certain color leo, then you should make sure you have these items.

What to bring: If it's cold out bring a ballet sweater and/or legwarmers. Also, bring a water bottle, and any extra hair suppliesin case your hair comes out during class.

What to expect: Expect a warmup on the barre, and possibly some center floor work. If this is a brand new beginner class they will probably show you the different arm and foot positions. They might do some stretching as well. Always be ready to work hard and stay focused. Don't get discouraged if you have trouble- it's only the first class.

Also: If you have any other questions about attire and what to expect, you should just call the studio you're going to have class at. They will probably be happy to help.

  7. dont worrry it will be fun

you will probaly start out with some basics

wear tights leotard with a skirt and flat shoes

put your hair in a bun ( because your hair can hit you in the face when turning and it hurts)

also this is optinal buy a dance dictionary at barnes and nobles its only five bucks it will explain the positions movements and how to say them it is helpful

    good luck!

  8. Bring: Ballet shoes

    Wear: Leotard

    Expect: Soft at first
