it depends on if you're going to be moving a lot of things or not.

Car if you want more passengers or like to have smaller things covered and secured

Truck if you carry hugee things and don't really want that many passengers

Adding to tsengjin, If you want to tow big load and need off road drive, go for a truck. Else go for a Car. Cars are just transport that accomodates more folk with decent storage.

If you buy a Truck make sure you get a Bumper Sticker saying

"Yes its my Truck. No I won't help you move."
